Melissa Graham

Melissa is currently a freelancer and consultant in digital marketing. Born and raised in Milwaukee, she is a first generation college kid and proud Latina with over ten years of experience in marketing and leadership. 

She started her career in a real newsroom before joining “the dark side” as a marketing manager for medical associations and nonprofits. The versatility of these roles allowed her to learn and lead in multiple channels throughout her career — from PR to event planning, newsletters to paid advertising. 

When she felt her digital skills weren’t moving fast enough, she dove into agency world where she managed and scaled the SEO team as Rocket Clicks’ SEO Director. She worked there over 5 years before moving on to Kinetic Sequence for a brief time, where she got to learn new emerging media channels.

Most recently, she has been a freelancer and consultant — working with partners in marketing and even nonprofit management. 

She also participates in community events with the Hispanic Professionals of Greater Milwaukee and most recently joined their Board Pipeline Initiative. She is also a proud alumnus of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, whose mission is to build the next generation of Latino leaders. 

In her free time, she enjoys wine, gardening and playing with her two pups. She admittedly watches a lot of anime and horror movies, plus has been known to play a few board games.
